A critical care paramedic with 15 years across the ambulance sector, from frontline response and specialist rescue to the rescue helicopter winch, air ambulance dispatch and university teaching. He has seen from every side where the systems fall short, so he built what they should be. Every screen is still tested against the job.
Brendan is a critical care paramedic with 15 years' experience across the ambulance sector: frontline ambulance and shift supervisor; specialist response with HAZMAT, Police Armed Offenders and STG attachments, high-angle rope rescue and LANDSAR; rescue helicopter crewman and winch operator, including NVG, rescue swimmer and wireman; air ambulance dispatch; and clinical mentor, on-call clinical advisor and delegate, and university lecturer.
That range has shown him the sector's challenges from every side, and where its systems fall short. After several other company directorships, he started Castellan to fix the problems in the work he cares most about, and built the Castellan platform. Every screen is still tested against the job.

He brings an independent, outcomes-focused perspective to advisory roles, balancing architecture, security, operational requirements, cost, and long-term maintainability to support informed technology decisions.
Neil has over twenty years helping organisations adopt new technologies to deliver scalable digital products and services for mission critical applications. With experience in health, telecommunications and defence, Neil assists Castellan with advice to develop its innovative paramedicine patient and medication management applications from concept to operational success.
